Barock Pinto and Beautiful, this is our Baroque Pinto certified stud 'Bonte Piet fan 't Proosdijhof'. Of course we are very proud of him! It may be said: our Piet is a beautiful horse with a lot of canter and a fantastic character!
Bonte Piet is a descendant of the AES Approved stallion Ico Sun, with the black and white colours. His mother's father is the famous Friesian dressage stallion Heinse 354 Sport! This means that he has 50% Friesian in his bloodline en has been bred out of a very strong mother's line, the Hertshoorn stam line 120.
With his 1.69m he has a very impressive appearance and he is expected to grow at least a couple of centimetres more. Piet is a beautifully tall stallion with rich front quarters and very good typical riding movements and has been taught the basic riding skills. He is easy to ride, willing to work and comfortable to sit. Bonte Piet is very suitable for dressage.
Thanks to his solid appearance en typical riding movements he will outshine many horses! Piet is a horse with a calm and friendly character, he isn't spooky at all. Everybody can ride him. You couldn't wish for a friendlier horse. Bonte Piet loves attention, cuddling and being groomed. Piet is also easy to load into the trailer and stands quietly when travelling. He is suitable for many purposes. He could do very well with someone with dressage ambitions or as recreational horse, but he is of course extremely fit for covering mares.
