Hamlet is a beautiful foal of the Champion stallion Gjalt 425! Unfortunately he's been born a little too late to be able to take him to the "keuring" this year, but what dó we know? That everyone who visits our stables really go wild when seeing this little foal...
His mother Ireena v/d Veldstraat received the 1st premie as a foal and was declared Ster predicate in 2005. She received an 8 for breed type, 7 for Stature, 6.5 for legwork, 6.5 for her walk and a 7 for her trot. He has an inbreeding coefficient of only 1.19% and also has a very low affiliation percentage.
His mother has given us a couple of foals from Wikke 404 Sports - a stallion and a mare of the Champion Haitse 425. His sister, daughter of Haitse 425, is also in our possession. This year she has been declared Ster at the age of three.
His mother's father is the 1st premie stud Nanning 374 son of Teunis 332 x Feitse 293 Preferent x Oege Preferent. Nanning's mother is Ster+Preferent, his grandmother is Model+Preferent x Model+Preferent x Model+Preferent.
In combination with Ireena's motherline, namely Ster, Ster+Preferent*4 and Ster+ almost Double Preferent, particularly 7 Ster children, she has been bred very interestingly. This is only being reinforced by the old bloodline of her mother's father: Ewoud x Doede x Tiede!
Hamlet originates from Stam line 60 and a long story has been written about her grandmother Beatriece in the Mare stam lines of the Friesian horse. It mentions amongst others that she was very fertile, gave birth to many good offspring including 7 Ster children (only 1 missing for Double Preferent)!!
It may be said: Hamlet is an extremely interesting colt with much ‘preferent' blood in his origins. This is very rare...
